Vision: In my personal life—I want to grow in joy, discernment and listening. My unique contribution is being able to help people think systematically, strategically and relationally about organizations—to that end I want to help church leaders understand and implement plans to maximize their systems to be most effective in leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
In my home—I want my relationships with my wife and children to be life’s best illustration of God’s love for them—to be a door into empowerment and encouragement of God’s design on their lives.
In my church—I want to be part of a collaborative leadership team empowered to change how we do church.
In the Kingdom—I want to influence other leaders to do the same.
Biography: Damon DeLillo was formerly the Children’s Pastor of First Baptist Church of Ventura. He championed family ministry at FBC, creating environments that partner with parents to bring faith home. In 2005, he launched a multi-sensory environment called KidStuf that brings parents and kids together to learn about faith and character.
Damon is a graduate of Wheaton College with a BA in English Literature and Secondary Education. He has been employed as a high school teacher, high school principal, youth pastor and family pastor. Damon has spent the last 10 years catalyzing organizational change, building teams and investing in leaders.
In the summer of 1998, Damon married Janna Gillaspy, the greatest woman in the world. Janna employs her gifts as Kidstuf producer, piano teacher, homeschool teacher, and primary source of food to Gracie, their fourth and youngest child. Together, Damon and Janna, are raising their four children, Emilie (7), Corey (5), Tucker (3) and Gracie (1), in the urban coastal community of Oxnard, California.
